An initial experience of TESLA Cybertruck

Pyithu Bawa (pyithubawa.com) Sean O’Kane of The Verge was one of the few people who stormed TESLA Cybertruck recently. The following is an excerpt from Sean O’Kane’s first visit to TESLA Cybertruck.
Named Cybertruck, this futuristic pickup truck was introduced by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Shortly after he introduced me, I took a seat in the car. Tesla staff got three people, including me, into Cybertruck and gave them a little test drive at Hawthorne, California, where SpaceX (Elon Musk’s headquarters) is located.

The car we drove was a mid-range, dual-motor truck. It only takes 4.5-seconds to reach 0-60 mph and is priced at $ 49,900. This is less than the famous pickup trucks on the market. The lowest level Cybertruck will be around $ 39,900 and the highest level will be around $ 70,000. The Cybertruck prototype is really fast. But because of its size and weight, its speed is boring. That is to say, it’s not as exciting as other Tesla cars.
Instead, I noticed the spaciousness of the Cybertruck test drive. While many people are talking about the exterior of the car, I want to talk more about the interior. The backroom is even more spacious. I have never seen a car so spacious and stretchable. You might even wonder if Tesla is using amazing technology.

Overall, the Cybertruck is a car of the future. It will be more like a car parked in a Walmart car park on Mars than the one you usually see in front of your house. But over time, that is likely to change. In 2021, when it will be released and more visible.

Price of TESLA Cybertruck

The single-motor Cybertruck is said to be able to drive at least 250 miles on a full charge and carry a maximum of 3,500 pounds. The range is 250+. It will be available in three variants: 300+ and 500+ miles. Traction is at a minimum of 7,500 pounds.

According to Elon Musk, there are three specific versions of Cybertruck that will be released.

  1. Single Motor AWD: Range- 250+ miles; 0-60mph – 6.5 seconds; top speed – 110mph; Payload – 3,500 lbs; Tow Rating – 7,500 lbs; Price – $39,900
  2. Dual Motor AWD: Range- 300+ miles; 0-60mph – 4.5 seconds; top speed – 120mph; Payload – 3,500 lbs; Tow Rating – 10,000 lbs; Price – $49,900
  3. Tri Motor AWD: Range- 500+ miles; 0-60mph – 2.9 seconds; top speed – 130mph; Payload – 3,500 lbs; Tow Rating – 14,000 lbs; Price – $69,900

If you want better specs, the price will be higher than usual. With a full battery, it can drive more than 500 miles and is equipped with three identical motors called the “Plaid Powertrain”, which can produce up to 14,000 pounds of traction. Musk promises that Cybertruck can drive on any road. Thanks to its adaptive air suspension and 16-inch-high ground clearance. In addition, the 110V and 220V outlets seen in Cybertruck advertisements; Lockable storage compartments; With onboard air compressors, it can be said that even today it is competitive.

The interior of the stainless steel body, called the “exoskeleton” by Musk, has a very large passenger compartment. According to him, the cold-rolled steel alloy used on the Cybertruck body is similar to that used on his space shuttle SpaceX.

TESLA Cybertruck Appearance

As with the prototype, the interior of the truck is not finished. The dashboard looks a lot like rock, just like Tesla’s official release photos. When we touch it, it tastes like soft rubber. The body is completely steel. Every time I touch it, I feel cool. No side mirrors at all. The center rearview mirror is also a display connected to a camera mounted on the back of the truck.

According to Tesla, the Cybertruck uses a 17-inch touchscreen with a landscape-oriented design for future generations. It looks like the Tesla staff will need to adjust the settings a bit. I would like to try Cybertruck software even more.

Tesla is a company that is often built before people even realize what they need. When electric cars were first introduced, they were ridiculed by many. From that point of view, it’s just plain weird to look at Cybertruck. Another is Elon Musk. Doesn’t he just want to swim at the top of the stream?

While riding in a truck for a while, I could not believe that people would just get into a cybertruck and try it once. Likes and dislikes are divided. Controversial design. But the spaciousness and the Tesla 3-style infotainment screen are quite appealing to me. For those who love science fiction, Cybertruck is a truck with an extreme design that could even be a priority.

Tyson Jominy, vice president of JD Power, said: “Good design can be ridiculous at first glance. But it’s just as normal. ”

Musk spent months trying to tell everyone that Tesla’s first electric pickup, the Cybertruck, was a different kind of car from the Blade Runner movie. Now on stage, Tesla’s customers and fans around the world are completely silent.

Tesla’s reckless CEO

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Cybertruck’s “How big is it?” Some have suggested that DeLorean in the science fiction film Back to the Future is made with Hammer. Some say it looks like an alien car. But when Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, smashed the windows of the Cybertruck with a piece of metal, the view of the alien car waned.

Used in the first car to test the ruggedness of the Cybertruck The lens is mounted horizontally and shot down with the bar. It did not split at that time. The second car door was hammered hard with a hammer. There was no knocking. Finally, the glass on the car door shattered when the glass was smashed.

Elon Musk later tweeted: “It’s not cracked. It’s been tested before the show. The problem was that the edges of the windshield were hurt when the car door was hammered with a hammer.” Elon Musk tweeted.

To be honest, everyone attending the Cybertruck launch event should know that they saw the design at a moment when they were there. Because Tesla seems to have learned a lot from the fumes of Blade Runner. This is because Musk told Tesla fans to wear cyberpunk clothes. Most of them are wearing it too. Future coat designs Colorful LED glasses; Self-made clothing designs; Wear brightly colored shoes.

But Tesla’s reckless CEO will still have to work hard to keep up with the latest production deadlines and the promise of greatness. Be that as it may. One thing Cybertruck can make clear is that one day this car will surely become as valuable as Elon Musk’s.
