Normally we already have high performance. But what we are looking for is another way to increase speed. If you look at Bugatti’s history and brand success, there is much more to explore. In other words, it aims to create Bugatti’s second model.

Q: It is true that Bugatti can continue to expand its search. But are there any plans to change not only the engine performance and aesthetics but also the size? For example, like Lamborghini Urus. It’s more like an SUV than Bentley’s Bentayga. Can’t you expand your Bugatti market by leveraging your experience at Lamborghini?

A: There are only two supercars we have created at Lamborghini: The Aventador and the Huracan. That is to say, it is important to hold on to something that does not harm the company’s other products and brand. So now we are trying to create the next advantage for Bugatti. That’s definitely not an SUV. Again, Bugatti has no plans to launch an SUV. There are no plans to launch luxury limousines. So I have two ideas. One is a very light and high-speed car. Another idea is to transform the two-door coupe style into an everyday urban car. No one has done that yet.

Q: What about current Bugatti customers asking for such cars?

A: Yes, they are waiting for Bugatti’s second new model. They want a race car for everyday use. In my opinion, this is something that should be focused on.

Q: Do some customers ask for some of Bugatti’s car models to be upgraded?

A: This issue needs to be carefully considered. Electric power is a separate path. And I do not have to say for now. Coming soon … well …

Q: In the next five years, 6 years I have to say about 7 years ….

A: Yes, it was exactly that time. The basic structure of the electric power system has changed, as has the charging speed, there is also a need to improve battery technology, such as volume.

Q: Are you still worried about not being able to focus on electric cars? Because when the Chiron and Veyron were introduced, people said they felt the car. I think the Bugatti is a very difficult car to convert to electricity.

A: Yes, the Bugatti Chiron is a different kind of car. Its internal explosion-proof engine will remain a work of art for many years to come. There are still many reasons why a race car like the Chiron should not be produced as an electric car. A car made in small quantities by car enthusiasts … a car that can give a lot of feeling when you sit inside. An everyday car can be an electric car. Anyway, at least I didn’t go down without explaining myself first. There is a saying I always say, you do not have to be the first to invent, you just have to be the best.

Q: I think Bugatti’s brand success has peaked in the last 12 months. What do you think?

A: I think so too. For me, to make the brand better known; The popularity of a car is as expected. No … It is important to test the quality of the staff.

A: I cannot depend on my employer. Volkswagen paid me to think it over. Not to be imaginative. I still have things to bring.

Q: That’s right. But have you considered the cost of the second Bugatti model?

A: The company’s first priority is to fund future Chiron models. I’m here because of financial support. As I said, it’s my responsibility to focus on what the second model should look like if the company can provide stable funding for the next model.

Q: At Lamborghini, you created a race car that was acceptable from all angles? Lamborghini has benefited a lot from this. What about Bugatti? Bugatti Motor Company

A: At Lamborghini, it takes a lot of hard work to get where you want to go. We cannot always say we will succeed.

Q: So you like the Lamborghini Urus SUV model? Bugatti Motor Company

A: I like it. In 2012, I introduced the new Urus prototype in Beijing.
